Recomended lubricant 1976 Newage 140 gear

Hi there.

Which "modern" oil would you recommend for a Newage 140  1976 gear? I think a mineral oil...

Its a PRM hydraulic box so whatever you put in the engine is the usual recommendation. As its an old box the engine is also probably old so not a synthetic oil. Probably SAE 15W40 or SAE 20W50 in API CC, CD, CE

Ok, for the engine, i use  15W40 mineral oil (BMC 1.5 diesel), that should works for the gear too, i think.
