Anyone got any ideas how to improve output quality of invertors and generators please? David

Hello, when we were travelling in India I noticed that nearly everyone has a Digital Voltage Stabilizer connected between their generators and their computers, Air Condidioners etc. The mains power there was so unreliable at times that they could have 3 or 4 blackouts a night. I have been unable to find one of these for sale in UK on ebay or anywhere else. We have a 12 yr old Heart Interface 2500 invertor which gives a very square noisy waveform and wondered if one of these would make it smoother? Also my daughter has an invertor generator and her small boat washing machine won't run with it - perhaps the Digital Voltage Stabilizer would solve her problem as well? anyone else managed to solve this problem, please? David
