  1. Thank you for that, it's what I expected.
  2. VOC is 38.1 ISC 8.80amp
  3. VMP is 30.7v
  4. I have just purchased 4*250w 24v panels and a 40a MPPT controller(tracer 4215BN). I am running a 24v 460amp batteries (4*12v 230amp in series and parallel). Which would you suggest as the best way to set up the panels with the Controller? Max voltage or maximum amps? Or split 2 and 2?
  5. Can anyone here give me either the Iska alternator Number or a definite replacement alternator?
  6. Thanks Catweasel and dor, will let you know what happens, is it possible that the harness may have earthed out due to chaffing? And would that cause the problem?
  7. I have just lost the water temp gauge and oil Pressure gauge at the same time, anyone have any ideas?
  8. Try looking here http://www.ruralbroadband.co.uk
  9. I am looking to lift our 66ft boat onto a lorry around the Milton Keynes area, anyone got any ideas? Cheers
  10. Great photos, it will be great to escape the Ouse, since we've been stuck here since September last year! But you know about that Ditchcrawler
  11. Oh Yes especially as we havea cat! Will give both a try, thank you. I would go with grunge on the evaporator tray too, but would have to take the Larder Opposite to bits remove the fridge door and roof to get the fridge out, it was a struggle getting it lifted to look underneath! But last resort.
  12. We have a problem with our shoreline Fridge, it stinks, we have cleaned everything out in the last two weeks, twice, and it is till humming, there is no dead food in it. The fridge is 8 years old and is working perfectly. Help.
  13. Friend of mine brought one, worked OK 1st time but then refused to start again, took a long while for him to get his money back.
  14. I have just had 860 Amp/hr at C20 of 2v tractions(12v) fitted by PB batteries with an autofill system and gasing sytem, excellant fitting service all in price £1257.00. I use on average 100-110 amps a day and have put these to the test. I have not run my engine since Sunday Last week until this morning, have used in excess of 600 amps, voltage down to 12.15v and SG 1.18 per cell. How much further could I take these down, I know I can take them down to 20% , but what voltage and SG would I be looking for?
  15. Thanks Gibbo, One further question if I may, is 250A Busbar big enough or should I go to 600A?
  16. If I was to remove the first battery of my domestic Bank and replace it with a a 250A Busbar for the positive terminal and 10mm stud commoning post for the Negative terminal, would it be acceptable? I want to replace my domestic Bank of batteries with a 660amp traction battery. The traction batteries will be on the starboard side of the engine hole on the swim and the 250A busbar and neg post will be on the port swim, I want to do it this way as it will save me having to put extra tails on all the wiring that went to the first of the domestic batteries. Is this an acceptable practice? I originally had 3 X 200 amp Gel Batteries, 1 on the port swim and 2 on the starboard swim.
  17. Just to let everyone know this problem has now been resolved. The Boatyard has now replaced their engine mounts with the K75 Vetus mounts. No Vibrations now at all, the new mounts have even reduced the engine noise heard in the for Cabin. Great Result. I think that if a company such as Vetus have their own engine mounts, then there is a reason for it and in my case it was the solution. Cheers all for your inputs.
  18. Did you replace them with the Vetus K75 mounts?
  19. Thanks Catweasel, was hoping that might be the case
  20. hope its worked this time Here is the photos as promised
  21. Hopefully these two have loaded ok.
