    Same here, hired a day boat and that was all, we know it'll be rough in the winter, no Tv ect but we have loved everymoment of the last month. And from what i have learnt about inland waterways too, soooo much differant than the Irish sea!! lol

    I do the same, although i'm looking at fitting some keep nets either side of the good ship, then relaunch her as the MFV Whimbrel

    The run to bristol is great, we done Hilperton to Hanham lock in a day and a 1/2, be warned, below Hanham to Netham is tidal, take a anc/mud weight ect. I had no signal on my phone on the approch to Netham so had to use VHF. 24 hours in BFH will cost you around £30 for a 65 footer. Beware the spring tide mind...... Have fun though, the K&A is a great waterway

    Reminds me, a few years ago, we had to a run up to a northen Morgue to collect a "guest", it was pretty cold and icy on the way back down south. So we stopped for a few hours only to come out the services to find someones nicked the blacked out astra estate compleat with stiff still on board...... My, how the coppers laughed. It was found soon after, with the gent still aboard

    Built a Flower class corvette for a gent and didnt see one in the flesh, still charged him £800 too
