  1. .....rather than describing them - these are what I wear - light, flexible, veeery comfortable, but not waterproof unfortunately.
  2. Long, long time no dismantly BMC..... but AFAIR pushrod sits in cam follower, not direct onto cam - cam follower stuck/missing?
  3. Nope. Data protection and all that. WYSIWYG, builder, reg no., name & registration authority only. From Jim Sheads listing:- "The details of individual boats have been taken from files kindly supplied by the navigation authorities so will reflect their records". Looks like re-reg and name it yourself
  4. I have looked for Headline 25/26s in Jim Shead's listing HERE but nothing jumps out as a possibility. I had thought with an odd regn. it would be from the EA or Thames. When you're ready to licence it BW will issue a new number, unless you can manage to trace the history AND it was previously on BW waters.
  5. Do you mean a 'Headline' cruiser? What reg number do you have, N7501 maybe? and from what region did you purchase her?

  9. We too are going down the separate hob and oven line, but not yet ready to buy. In a previous bout of research I found FFD and FSD. Is this the other term you have seen (FSD = flame supervision device). Now, I may be wrong but I think that the two, are one in the same thing - but I'm willing to learn! ...........edited to change safety to supervision...
  10. One doesn't have to sell by auction on eBay. At a quick glance, a 'classified' listing would cost for 28 days, £12.99 CLICKY No final value fees (commission), just the listing cost. If you get an offer, you can leave the ad in place and state it's under offer, then, should it fall through, you still have the benefit of the remainder of the 28 days. You can provide extra photos much in the same way as you do photos here on CWDF ........edited to add last line above....

  15. OK, so you're a member of the BlackHand Gang now! We all know about the quality of your paint, and your experience in using it - as you say, an able and competent person. So, maybe it's not the 'quality' of the person, or the paint you handle, or the environment in which you work, but the tin. Yes, the tin. Have you started using (shhhh.........types quietly).......... inferior tins?
