hi i am new to narrowboats this was my first season what are the dos and donts re mooring up over winter?

not sure about the draft would it help to and some more ballest maybe sand ? it list to the side as the toilet tank fills re the problems lnb sorted most of it out but still requires a repaint they fitted it with an inverter control panel c/heating and a pump out toilet

ive have just finished a two week cruise on my new boat the boat seems to rock from side to side a lot any ideas

do you need to fit a purifier to the cold water system ?

they are also leaving there fitter with me to install the heating and plumbing (they are providing all the pipework and fittings includind pumps) i just have to get boiler, shower sinks and clarafiore etc

she will be called nelly (nickname for wife) still got to fit out yet need plumber and spark any ideas

yes i know paul and bren held there hands up and stood by there word that they would sort out all the faults

lees have now compleated my boat and are returning it to my yard on wednesday they have repainted it (a few runs) fitted all new windows refitted all joinery and completed the engine also as a good will jesture they have fitted a dis board a 3000w pure sine wave inverter extra batteries battery managment system a pump out loo and tank and all internal lights and switchs

my boat is now being returned to me from lees narrow boats they have repaited it (a couple of runs) fitted new windows compleated the engine sorted out all the joinery and done a good job they also fitted me a 3000 pure sine wave inverter distribution board extra batteries and a pump out loo and internall lights free of charge

dos anyone know good web sites for plumbing and electrics diagrams made easy

should there be car body filler on a new boat?

it was your boat i looked (in there workshop)at when ordering mine both boats side by side ithink you would agree with me when i saw your boat then mine arrived lees have said they will sort the boat out thats fine as to giveing them a slagging off dead right wouldnt you the boat reqs new windows ,new paint job no not a fancy job but a proper job it also requires new doors internal joineryand finishing off how satisfied would you be if it was your boat as i said lees are prepared to do this and have not tried to fob me off but it still has to be said so the next time you post a reply make sure you know what you are talking about ta jeff miller i will post some pics when i sus out how to do it

been to see lees today they are being very good about the problem they have given me 3 choices 1 money back 2 new boat 3sort out my boat i have gone for 3 i like the hull and if they sort out all the issuse with mine it will be fine they can turn out a very good boat and seem to be getting on track in morrocco fitters back next week and they say andy russell is to repaint it

we went on the midi for a 4 week break its very nice lots of places to go etc but the only prob was the loos empty straight into cut

WE ARE STILL TRYING TO GET LEES TO AGREE TO REFIT THE HAVE SENT A FITTER DOWN TODAY WITH THE VIEW TO REPAIR BITS AND I TOLD HIM THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE (HE AGREED) I AM TRYING TO GET AN EXPERT TO GIVE ME A REPORT ON ELECTRICS

the hull is fine the main problems are joinery paint and missing engine parts the surveyer said there are no ce marks? where can i get in touch with kevin
