  1. Hello everyone I am trying to under stand what satisfies being a genuine CC under the BW terms. For example would someone who cruised around a ring like the Cheshire ring moving along every week be considered a legitimate CC but staying on that ring only? Can someone give an example of what is acceptable as I believe there are some people out there who do consider themselves to be genuine CC if they keep moving on every fortnight ?
  2. I think I have got to the bottom of this now. The seller has confirmed that from the amount agreed on the boat sale I can take the yard invoice and settle it and give the seller what is left. The yard fees are 2k. If I am buying the boat I cant see the yard having a problem with it but I will call them in the morning to make sure. Thank you.
  3. I think he is planning to use a fair bit of the money off the boat sale to pay the fees. My consearn is if he dont. The boat has a survey with it and welding has been done since. He couldn't get to the middle of the baseplate to do sonar readings but where he could the steel is 6mm. The bow under the integral tank has been welded on the base plate because it was corroding inside and out. The surveyor is pulling the files out for me in the next hour and a half. I will probably get the surveyor to check the work but the yard guarantees the work. The boat is 45' rugby boats with bmc 1.5 6k.
  4. Hello I am about to buy a second hand narrow boat. Its a good deal but the seller owes the boat yard money. How can I buy the boat without getting caught out if the seller decides not to pay their yard fees?
