    'scuse me but I'm new. apologies if this has been covered before, but I want to connect my boat up to the mains. A neighbour told me I should connect the greenyellow wire to the hull. Seems odd. Anybody got any advice? I just want to bring an extension lead on board to run a heater and a cooker.
