  1. Ive been off grid for years and use a mates account miles away from where i am, they announced they might trial this then quickly backtracked after backlash, and after a trial in Chile (?) that lead to loads of people cancelling their accounts! Not had any issues yet, but sometimes when i use a VPN (a VON bounces your IP around the world so you can access shows available in different countries and be more untraceable) their little robot recognises that im doing this and 'computer says no'. If you're experiencing problems using netflix its probably an unrelated issue, or because your IP keeps moving during a session and their robot thinks youre using a VPN (or if you are using a VPN, that might be why). In the mean time, i recommend Curiosity Stream, its like £2 a month and got loads of cool stuff, also if you just google "[show you want to watch] watch free online full movie" loods of free streaming sites come up!
  2. We are having issues with the cooling system on our engine! There is supposed to be a pee stream out of the back of the engine, obviously cool water comes in, warm(ish) water comes out..but theres no sign of any water coming out, so presumably none coming jn either? So far ive been able to scrub around the grate over the inlet that draws water in, my initial thought was there must be a blockage, nithing changed, I've not examined anything internally yet. Done a bit of resesrch online, a few articles say to take the engine out the water and stick it in a bucket of clean water. Which isn't really something i want to do right away, also oretty sure that wouldnt fix the issue. Keen for advice and aby relevant resources or explanations, engines really arent something im confident with, please assume i know nothing!
  3. we recently bought a narrowboat, she's 30ft, built by eastern caravans and narrowboats ltd. the boat came with a folder & all the pamphlets for all the appliances etc, there's one for a bulge pump, so we know there is a pump somewhere on the boat, it's hooked up to the 12v battery, and the wires for it run under the floor, the switch is on, etc. there's defo a pump down there somewhere, but how the heck do we get to it to check it's working & in good condition? short of taking the floor up? there's no hatches for the main bilge of the boat. most articles about bilge pump maintenance assume you're installing one for the first time, or that it's easily accessible (eg in the engine bay). the bilge is divided into three segments (the two outside ones are fuel & gas lockers) and dont have pumps in them any advice would be gratefully appreciated
