  1. The shoreline comes in top left and I cut back so as to direct earth into primary side of isolating coil. The live and neutral go into soft start then from this to the primary side of isolating coil. The secondary coil output feeds to bottom left before feeding up to distribution box again I stripped back (you can see the blue insulation tape) to connect earth wire to the casing stud which is connected with a earth wire to an independent stainless stud in engine drilled and tapped to the shell thanks again for assistance 👍
  2. My soft start finally arrived so now fitted to isolation transformer, you can hear the effect of soft start so now there is no bang as the transformer is switched on. thank you to all the advice/recommendations
  3. Well it’s not 100mm I measured today when I went to boat it’s 60mm with a 30mm deep pipe, so once I’ve bought my heating pipes through I’m sure I can make a backing which can be fitted into the hole the fire retardant silicon to seal it up
  4. The Reflex is a convection stove so will not push out heat like a multi fuel stove so the rear tiles won’t get as hot as you think. I think the CT1 should do the job, I’m going to put a stainless angle plate at bottom/fixed behind the tile to support the tile weight I’ll look into these with using CT1
  5. If your commenting on the link I provided the idea is to basically individual seal as the duct needs to be water tight and prevent any flame passage my thoughts was to surround the cables and my heating pipes with some hose then creat a seal. Then seal off each hose hope I’ve explained my thoughts
  6. No we use to use this system when I was working which would work https://www.filoform.co.uk/filoseal-hd-re-enterable-duct-sealing
  7. Thanks for response so far, we use to use expanding foam to seal ducts on forecourt but I was wondering about using a rubberised/ silicon seal
  8. Just thinking ahead any recommendations on sealing the service holes(large duct) from engine area through stern bulkhead into the living area thanks
  9. We are putting 2 large tiles behind our reflex stove more for aesthetic but wondered if others had any recommendations on flexible glue for bonding these to the walls thanks in advance 👍
  10. I’m getting close to installing my calorifier just wondering if there are any recommendations for type of hoses to link up the engine to the coil in the tank thanks
  11. Confirms my thoughts 👍 ok I’ll order one of those Thanks both for advice
  12. update all working, however very occasionally on start up yes bollard does trip, so I decided to go with Grump's recommendation unfortunately I have received 2 both 2600W after I ordered 4000W I have been in touch with other sellers asking if their advertised 4000W is correct all have said no either 2200 or 2600. There are some 5000W ones advertised but would these give a nice soft start for the transformer https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/193928435193?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=gVVg5_8mTwG&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=yEj9NWIqRhu&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY Or could I use the two 2600W ones I've had delivered in parallel thanks Chris
  13. My design/layout means the shower waste runs under floor to opposite side to be sucked up by the gulper ready to pump out my question is there a preference to the design and type of pipe to use as the waste(suction feed to gulper) I was think to use house rigid plastic waste pipe under floor, then turn up through the floor, at this point I would change to clear reinforced pvc pipe into gulper is this a good solution or should I run pvc reinforced direct from the shower trap
