  1. Told them to swim from the other side of the bank apparently. How he told them, we will never know. Tbh IMO they have hammed it up saying they dont sleep at night, so it’s likely they played down their part in it too. I mean it’s not nice but you have been pushed in some water not had a gun pushed against your temple!
  2. Oooo does it work on vending machines 😅
  3. Ya never know would be pretty easy to follow IP address if is on social media. Thing is he’s probably under 18 so will likely get cautioned if they do find him!
  4. I use a Yale key. Unclip from key ring. Obvs insert the round end not the pointy. Try it, works for me!

  6. https://www.wiltshiretimes.co.uk/news/23514268.boater-finally-evicted-canal-river-trust-legal-battle/ https://www.gazetteandherald.co.uk/news/23514268.boater-finally-evicted-canal-river-trust-legal-battle/ This is an ongoing story that’s been highlighted to me by this forum. The infamous overstayer, now reduced to a tent. Will you be joining his drum circle or donating on Justgiving? Or sound a hurrah as you say cheerio?
  7. What is this? Not seen huge air intakes like that on the roof before, if that’s what they are Kinder egg toy ?
  8. Wide beams errrgghhhh. Only joking 😅 Forgive my insolence, why would goin through backwards help?
  9. It doesn’t alter the opening effect. And yes on paper it’s ridiculous I agree. But once you’ve had soft close its hard to go back. I keep dropping the seat expecting it a nice gradual closing motion but instead, BANG! Thetford do a fresh loo box, basically a replacement cassette and loo seat. https://www.grasshopperleisure.co.uk/thetford-c400-fresh-up-kit---cassette--toilet-seat-2653-p.asp If I can’t find an upgrade I will just get that and accept the throne isn’t as kingly as one hoped!
  10. I’m hoping I can find a toilet seat that fits this model, isn’t plastic and has soft close. Does this exist?
  11. Yes I was referring to those odd fins coming from the side. Mini bilge keels New to me. I am sure this boat can go round Cape Horn now!
  12. Any info to go with this ? What are the plates on the hull pic
  13. Noticed a few of these around. Diff lengths. Think the shorter ones really suit their name. Aintree Beetle. Noticeable features are; Square stern. Pillar effect on round the bow doors.
  14. Basically you use your head for thinking. Head for thinking, feet for dancing, hands for shaking and your, well you get the point!
  15. Can you share a link for this jebus please?
  16. It’s an old saying… https://www.irishslang.info/tipperary/tipperary/up-here-for-thinking-down-there-for-dancing
  17. Up here for thinking, down there for dancing
  18. If no one is biting il happily introduce another colour to my boat! If you can post? Just thought there would be someone in need that would snap it up!!
  19. I must admit was bit surprised when there was no mention of raising funds for a charitable cause. That’s why I thought the ‘boat’ was called Big C. Some conflicting information about the Atlantic springer. One link says Brian Crutcher, another Tom McLean? https://www.jonesboatyard.co.uk/boat-sales/springer-boats-for-sale.html They even made the famous bottle boat which was sailed across the Atlantic in 1990 by Tom McClean.
  20. Blast. Well futher along the cut then!
  21. Hopefully the images appear on Google or something would like to see that! I am taking the mick a bit but me too! That’s what happens to ends people’s experiences on survival shows, particularly my fav US show ‘Alone’ Good find! Christ it’s tiny. Reminds me of a scaled down version of the WW2 Pilot rescue buoys. https://www.grannybuttons.com/granny_buttons/2004/06/canal_news_i_fr.html
