  1. Hi everyone, long time no speak. I was recently contacted by Cowboy Traders asking if I would go on their TV show, but as they couldn't contact any other Tuffin victims, evidently the show could not go ahead (shame), but as Tuffin was brought to my attention, I did some research and lo and behold he's making boats again, but under the new name of Gronwen Wharf Services Ltd. I also note that in 'Epiphany blog' end of navigation on the Montgomery. Quote, "Barry came out to chat, he still keeps his hand in building boats. He told me the owners of the mill land wanted it back so he had to move his workshop to Gronwen Wharf" And here was I thinking that it was because he went bankrupt and had a reposession order! As I wouldn't want what happened to us to happen to anyone else. BUYER BEWARE, BUYER BEWARE - Gronwen Wharf Services Ltd formerly known as Maesbury Marine Services, check out our story at - www.maesburymarine.co.uk Seasons greetings to all of you.
  2. Hi, when my boatbuilder requested the removal of my thread I went to Granny Buttons for help. Andrew Denny has now written something and also put my video's up if you fancy a look. I was surprised to find out about Lockstock, does anyone know about him as I joined this forum too late for the Westwood & Tigeress saga. Andrew mentioned cyber squatting because I have the same domain name but I DON'T! and we were careful not to.He is still reg as M.M.S we are MM. Also I am not selling boats BUT if he would like the domain name we own I could sell it to him for £30,000!!!!!!!!! Now THAT'S cyber squatting.
  3. People buy boats that way because it is the norm in boatland, and was more so in 07 when we were looking for a builder however it is not the norm to buy a car that way so I dont understand the similarity? We paid a £800 deposit on a £15,000 kitchen but we had to pay the balance before it was delivered. Ok maybe its not as much as a boat but it's still a large sum...The company went bust, it was MFI. OF COURSE we made HUGE mistakes and we are now paying the price BUT my builder isn't. To blame us for our woe's is to let our builder off which I will never do. There are two kinds of people in this world, the type like NiceNarrowboat who stand by you when the chips are down and the Schaden Freude type who prefer to kick you when you are down. When we decided to go public with our story we knew we were setting ourselves up for people to take a pop at us so we were pleasantly suprised when the majority were sympathetic.
  4. REALLY, Yeh I would like to know why too?? Well lets just give my site a few more clicks then. I have just put on an update...See you round at mine! Click on my link below.
  5. Had a look at your site, thanks both of you that's brill. While you're at it take a look at this... www.boatshopuk.co.uk click on other sections then services then new boatbuilders. Suffice to say I have just sent them an e-mail, hope you all do too! Keep up the good work.
  6. Hi Tony, I have spoken to my isp and they say I have no ftp access because it is only a very basic package, consequently we are limited to what we can do, which is why we have to go via America and back to read the surveyors report. Thanks for all your help and suggestions.
  7. Hi and thanks, we are listening to ALL your suggestions but we are having to go through a third party because we havn't got a clue, the only buttons I know are Cadburys!? Anyway just heard back from him and it doesn't look like we have any ftp access?
  8. Hi Penny, Thanks for the Anger Management I really NEEEEEDED that - had a rant, form filled in & let off some steam, thanks again - Mark (Mr. Hydrophobia)
  9. Christ WHAT could HE say???? Mind you when I asked him about WESTWOOD he said Pi**te put a hose pipe into his own boat and thats why it was so wet??????????? So you never know eh?
  10. MMMMMMMM Even I'm confused and It's my website....Just depends on what you Google, too many variations me thinks!
  11. Top man.....I originally was just going to make a 'dead' site ( never expected you all to rally round the way you have)but I really need to target the NEWBIE'S and in order to do that I need my site higher up, things are happening in the background and I think I might start putting developments up on my website, that way you all have to keep clicking on it which will improve its rating and also it won't bring trouble to this forum.
  12. Yes you are right, my boatbuilder is now an employee of his daughter (joke) One of the reasons I went to my MP was to see if anything could be done about serial bankrupts because the law is open to abuse, I have no problem with anyone going bankrupt but some people can't build boats OR manage money, these people should REMAIN as EMPLOYEES and not be employers! It is the DUTY of the trustees to find out if our boatbuilder brought on his own bankruptcy, we did ALL we could to help them with their enquiries! My boatbuilder has only applied to be bankrupt for 1yr during which time he will have to pay his secured creditors something (prob £1 a wk) but as I am unsecured I am not entitled to anything other than A DUTY OF CARE by the trustees!?
  13. We are on Just canals...Oh goody.
  14. Libel Action cost's a fortune and my boatbuilder is bankrupt! If he can fund a Libel case I would want to know how? Personally I cant wait to take weeks to reply to his solicitors letters or ignore them altogether as he did mine, bring it on! Also...Geoff Hoon MP used to be a lawer as did most MP's and he gave me advice about the website. I have NO WORRIES.Thanks for the concern.
  15. I can believe it...I have been waiting for it, I have been dealing with his (Audacity) as you put it for two years...What a guy!
