Hi, I’m looking to move near Liverpool Street ,London with the boat as I changed my job. I want to change the location every 2 weeks maybe in straight line for like 4 areas in total…then return back. Never been in the area with the boat so wondering If there are any facilities (water tap, place where to empty the toilet I think it’s called Elsan) I done west London so far and it was really nice…I could find free parking as well almost all the time, 2taps for like 4 areas. If anyone can please recommend any area where can I start my journey from would be very appreciated and thank you in advance.( not necessarily in the heart of Liverpool Street if is not doable… up to half hour away with the car could be ok as well) I know for some might be a stupid question and there are haters everywhere…people that think they was born with knowledge. However thank you

In the marina are quite expensive 200£ for one battery. I just want to make sure I buy the good ones. Can you recommend a good brand?

This blue cable is coming from the back of the fridge and going to the inverter.

I bought the boat with this 12v fridge, but I don't know if is working or not as there no on/off switch. There is just a blue cable that is connected to the inverter. Maybe is not working or maybe I don't know how to turn it on

The alternator is running. The alternator has been changed and the belt as well. I can't see any lose wires. Yes. I tried to call but because its Sunday no one is answering. I'll try again tomorrow.

The alternator was changed before I bought the boat. Its brans new.

We did what you said and no From when we moved to live on the boat, from the engine we just took the hot water just on the tap and the shower on the left side of the boat and not on the calorifier. I was looking for a swich to put hot water in the calorifiers but I couldn't find it. We only used webasto for as long as it worked. Thank you, you been very helpful

There is no power in my sockets I guess I I killer the batteries. I think I need an electrician? If anyone can recommend one. I runneed the engine for like over 10 hours yesterday and still no improvement is not going over 10.1 I meant I killed the batteries. Sorry for my English

Thank you very much Thebiscuits. I have 2 small solar panels. I don't know about the batterys types but I'll find out tomorrow. I would like to invest in good big solar panels. If you can recommend anyting would be very appreciated. Should I change the invertor and batteries as well? I have a wash machine but I guess there is no chance it will work with what I have, I probably need a bigger inverter. I runneed the engine 2 days ago for like 3 hours of cruising and that's it. You are right the alarm led is flashing because the batteries was flat. 9.4. I know that 12.7 is fully charged and 12.2 volts is half. So what I need to do in order not to damage the batteris is I do need to run the engine for like 2 hours every day, or invest in good solar pannels/new batteries/ inverter right? I can't run the engine in the night because I don't want to disturb other people around.

The heating and hot watter stopped working since yesterday... (webasto) I just bought this boat few days ago. From what I have read the batterys might have some pros, or I just don't know how to use the boat system. If anyone knows please helps The alarm led is flashing

Thank you everyone! What I meant was the continuous cruising licence, because I need to move every 2 weeks... Its doesn't say anywhere exactly how many miles... I would like to know approximately.... I'm working in London Holborn... I just need to familiarise myself with the canal map. Should I buy the golden licence? If the survey is going well tomorrow I'm having the boat and I'm a bit scarred...😔 Sorry for the stupid questions guys... I appreciate all the answers anyways.cheers!
