Have hired boats out from Wrenbury on a number of occasions and would highly recommend both the Dusty Miller and The Cotton Arms but in the height of the season you do need to book a table before arriving as there is a good sized camp site behind the Cotton Arms and tables go quickly

Just been reading the forum with regards to Robin Hood boats and are now a little concerned. We have booked a holiday with Tillerman boats which we believe to be linked with Canaltime has anyone got anything to say about them good or bad!!

We went two years ago and after going we were told mooring between bedford staircase locks and the Foxley public house at bridge 17 was not recommended. However we did have a cycle round Baddiley Green and found a lovely public house called the Orange Tree well worth a visit fantastic food

Thinking of a holiday later in the year that may require us to moor between Aston Locks and Farmers Bridge Locks on the BCN. Can anybody tell us if this is a safe place to moor? or would you recommend somewhere else.
