Hi, new to this forum, and to boating. I have a 2J fitted to my boat! It runs fine, but like the rest of the boat, has been neglected. I can’t shift the screws that hold the thermostat cover on. The manual which came with the boat says it’s possible to run without the thermostat, so long as the by-pass pipe is blanked off. Which is the by-pass tube?
