Wow that's a big step. Get real it is a Council that meets 2 times a year made up of.....well not sure how to say this (suggestions welcome)

And this is just another example of why this Council is a complete waste of time and money. It is all just Window Dressing. Right hand left hand springs to mind I am surprised with all those egos they can find a room big enough for them. Not sure if I can stand the suspense any longer of finding out his replacement.

The 2 key words being "elected" and "appointed" if elected IMO they have a duty to report back all the facts.

As Council only meet twice a year (I think) could be a long wait.

I will give anyone a chance it is just the signing of the CART Official Secrets Document I find objectionable rather like a Gagging Order.

Ok I have been rather distanced from canals over the last 6 months but I thought there had been some sort of elections before Christmas but stand to be corrected. Does seem a bit pointless though having a Council if those who are part of it can not be open about what was discussed.

I think maybe a good starting point for you might be to learn the difference between a company and a Trust. I presume you were voted on to represent a certain group of people, do they not have a right to know what was actually said? Sounds a bit like how Governments work only let people know half the story.

I think Collingwood was the original founder and the man with the money Stan I think was his brother in law but I might be wrong. I certainly met Mr Collingwood on one of my trips to Liverpool Boats

I think Liverpool boats are now Collingwood. As Liverpool Boats was a sort of production line they decided to use another name at that was the name of the owner. Some might have noticed the C At the front of Liverpool Boats that was the C of Collingwood who owned Liverpool Boats Cross posted but hey we agree
