Having read the Ive got a problem problem I immediatley suffered the problems outlined. It appears that the thread is the problem. Can be cleared by turning off your machine or loging out of your system. Hope its nothing more sinister in thread.

The recent dry weather has substantially reduced the natural stream inflows into the canals, resulting on earlier reliance on the reservoirs that supply the canals. We would therefore like to remind all users to take extra care to ensure that all gates and paddles are closed after use, where possible to double up with other users in locks and to keep a minimum of two locks apart on lock flights. This will all help to conserve water. With current rainfall patterns there is a risk that there will be insufficient water to fully meet the summit demands on the Leeds and Liverpool by the end of August. The Rochdale, Peak Forest and Lancaster Canals are also showing signs of being at similar risk by mid September. We are proposing to meet with representatives from our Leeds & Liverpool Canal user groups in the near future to agree any additional measures that may be appropriate and will hold subsequent meetings with other waterway user groups in due course. In the meantime we will continue to review the situation and keep you informed with further updates. Hi all, The following insertion was in a canal news report on saving water in times of drought. "We would therefore like to remind all users to take extra care to ensure that all gates and paddles are closed after use, where possible to double up with other users in locks and to keep a minimum of two locks apart on lock flights. This will all help to conserve water." The reminder of the gates, paddles and doubling up is fairly obvious but not so obvious is the method of keeping two locks apart to save water. I am really having trouble seeing the immediate logic and the writer didn,t elaborate. Is it obvious?

I seem to rememebr during this mays hot days the weather was predicted to be our hottest summer yet. Come on the predictions about a hard winter!!

Have just recieved mine and was purchased due to reliability and access to service levels on warranty. Did my homework and the facts seem to stack up. Further push for your warranty to be extended to the date you start using it and not the date you recieve it. can get upto a further six month on warranty.

Why not go onto a Holiday site and download a list of the Inventory that you will find on a narrowboat. It was a great strating point for me.
