    I remember seeing a few times hire boats using the pump out water hose to fill there clean water tank!

    We’ve always drank the water from our tap. We did sterilise the tank a few times when we first moved on but haven’t since. 4 years on we are still alive. As people have said the hire boat company will probably tell you what’s best.

    I assume they are called swindlers because their prices are ridiculous. Very expensive.
