    These photos were given to me by Old George. He worked on the BCN from the age of 13 till his retirement. His father used to be the lock keeper at Gas Street, so the lad pictured could well be George. For many years he lived in the company house at Sherborne Street, and used to enjoy going on the public trips around the loops. I reckon the pictures are around about 1939
