I've seen this boat before.. I've got a Cheshire Ring video, and this boat is definately on it.
I'm also sure it was up for sale a good few years later.

Sharpness passed us this weekend in Lymm, on the Bridgewater. A lovely boat, with a nice Gardner.
As usual, I'd gone one better than Dan and left my camera back at home!

A few pictures of President, the only FMC steamer currenly fitted out with steam.
That's stating the obvious a bit isn't it?

That's the crappy Bridgewater for you..

I think it was taken to Wincham Wharf from the boat builders for launching.

Looks to me like the rope wouldn't fit through.

Nigel, better than some of the boats at many of the brokers.. LOL..
This boat is on the T&M, just north of Middlewich.. We moored here sometime last year for the weekend, and I couldn't resist rowing over in my dinghy to take a look. Not far away from it too, in the reeds to the right is another boat, in a more sorry state.

No sign of Kildare ??

Yep, Jon, that's correct.
Also, note the very sharp bow that was used to slice the ice.

Scarey stuff!
A good friend of mine was towing a boat off the Macc, back to a broker on the T&M, because his boat is 30ft, and the one he was towing was 40ft, he could get into the lock together.. just!
The boat that he was towing got caught on the way up and ended up on the bottom quicker than you could say "oh bo**cks!"
Because they were on cross straps, his boat ended up at a frigtening angle, sat on top of the boat on the bottom!
