  2. Hi boaters Any advice our double bed is permanently set up on our boat ..seem to get damp between bottom of mattress and top of bed board we have draws at base of bed... trying different ideas used silver thermal block sheet - still same.... welcome any advice .. cheers all

  4. Hi boaters I'm replacing my 12v toilet fan.. received my replacement fan it's come with two red lives only not live and negative. I see it's Obviously not compatible any advice can I reconfigure some how any advice welcome Thank you

  7. Hi all Looking now for solar panels for my boat. Any recommendations make and model I'll be looking to use around 80 to 100 amps. A nite ?
  8. Exactly the same with me 10.4 by morning. With no use We got our boat in February 12 batteries were knackered replace them after 8 weeks just replace them again yesterday with Albion 120amp Also to be fair I didn't check my sterling battery charger and it was set to charge open lead acid batteries the ones I replaced them with sealed lead acid . At that time not to glued up We learn everyday Sorry got our boat in 2014

  12. I must say this is all good Reading and your all very clever in your field and knowledge I've been glued to my phone with all these comments. Over last two days very interesting I do know batteries have improved since 1975 some batteries carry fuzzy Logic so I'm led to believe I am taking onboard what you all are saying quite unbelievable really how people take batteries for granted as I did myself and I am listening to wotever has been saying All great suff Dr bob
  13. tony b Thank you for some good information read all of it . also read all of the other people who's been adding good information everything is starting to take on with me I'll be taking more care and respect my batteries . Look after your batteries they will look after you ?

  15. Sorry Alan my inverter is not on all the time I worded it wrong it's just for charging batteries for phones and sometimes watching a bit of TV the TVs 240
  16. Hi Dr bob What would be the average amp size on leisure batteries I am not using major power overnight just LED lighting fridge and pumps outside in I would use an inverter out all the time
