  1. Thanks, thats good! Thought they must test somehow
  2. Ahh great , knew they must had a way if not able to put in water- thanks
  3. Thanks , We were thinking of fitting out ourselves, so suppose it needs to be tested first. Thought the welders/hull builders would have Some way of testing Yes we thought that perhaps??
  4. If you buy a hull only or a sail away, how do they test for water tightness if not been in the water?? Or do they have to test it in water before selling??
  5. Ha ha, that made me laugh, Yep think we Will have to go with tank in the bow and a hatch too so he can get out easier and solves the draining prob. Square peg, round hole springs to mind- good name for boat maybe??

Try Maggi cook in the bag from any supermarkt, sounds like your not a fan of cooking, these are so easy , meat, veg etc all put in the bag and fresh meal ready in well under an hour- no mess, cant live off ready meals
  7. And do you have a pump out toilet?where is tank for that? Or do you have cassette? Thanks
  8. Interesting, thanks, never thought about tug design, could still have engine at stern Yes he is causing a problem! Good advice though Will look into that, thanks
  9. Thank, another Poss plan, and you have no issues with balance of boat with that?
  10. Thanks, have seen that, and could be a good solution
  11. Thankyou, think he may just have to put up with it, he is 6'6 so everything is an issue!! Shower, bed etc- gonna have to do Some compromising i think.
  12. Other than bow deck, where else could we fit a water tank? Want to keep bow deck flat(no step up) due to headroom for husband required. Have hired one like this, presume they had theres somewhere else, but wondering if it would have been small tank, as we were advised to fill up everyday and perhaps for the ballast. We want to live aboard so would need min 100 gallon/500 litres. We are designing hull ourselves- so does give us more options if they are available. Any ideas would be helpful, we would also need room for pump out toilet if poss. Dont fancy the cassettes, but know we May have to compromis. Boat length 62ft.
