I find that quite tempting but I would hate to waste peoples time and I have had heaps of help from URW. Incidentally, I have had the tow alternators repaired. I am already enjoying it hugely! We have an alternator problem and this has given me hours of innocent pleasure researching the secrets of the charging circuits. I am now confident with the theory of quenching diodes and voltage regulation and other such things that bore my wife. Dear All We are hoping to get the new boat, Theodora, back from Whilton to Thurmaston. I am sure that the hope is not vain and we will be successful at some stage. Theodora is moored at the bottom of Watford Locks until they open on 8/12. I see from the Waterscape site that Pywell's Lock 21 is closed because of massive cill problems. I see that the notice says "until further notice" in the dates column but for 2 weeks from 27th November in the text. Does anyone know how they are getting on? I have only started to take real notice of the stoppages programme since buying Theodora. Are the dates quoted generally reliable? All the best Nick

No, I am not living there ATM but intend, once we have finished the TLC bit, to spend a year aboard. (Retiring next summer) At the moment she is just below Watford locks waiting for them to reopen so that we can take her on up to Thurmaston. Nick

I just registered today and thought that I would like to tell everyone that I am a new boat owner (old boat!) Theodora is our pride and joy! But a rather scruffy P&J with lots of TLC needed. All the best and Hello Nick
