    I'm not sure when it comes to a repaint I'd spend much on it. So often it gets brambles etc rough it up as we go through bridges etc and if I'd spent £10k on it i'd be quite teary! a £10k paint job messes up just as easily as a DIY job. If we were in a marina all the time then it would be worth it, but as soon as you move.....! DIY painting is fun and relaxing...

    Don't you look at reviews/check out builders before putting down deposits? Maybe you're subconsciously looking to pull out (sorry I've spent all day with my mate who analysis this sort of stuff!).... sure you'll be fine!

    its one of the areas we never moor, so that might be a reason?

    Hi All Prior to our move to Droitwich I'm researching the locks in the Severn. When we came up Diglis lock when we did the Avon Ring i encountered exactly the same issue David does in the video below and wondered is there a correct procedure for these big locks that avoids the embarrassing pull over to the other side?
