Boring update for anyone interested, they seem to have knocked down most of the entry wall now - though there still appears to be some sort of wooden frame so nothing can sail in yet.

Yes it is nice and quiet around there. The only noise is from the A556 and that's sufficiently far that you probably can't hear it. I've only ever accessed it from the towpath so I have no idea where the road comes in!

Now full - inlet resealed. Doesn't look like there's been a major leak yet!

The inlet is still sealed, yes; they have been filling it via pipes.

HOT NEWS >> still filling. The 2 large syphons have stopped and the rest is being filled via 2 pipes knocked through the dam. Another few days and it'll be full I reckon!

Still filling today though one of the syphons appears to have stopped. Going to take a good few days more yet!

I work on the business park just by these two marinas and thought you might be interested to know they started filling Park Farm yesterday: Looks like there's a long way to go yet!
