  4. Mtb i have never challened your thinking but i hope you are ok with what i am about to say. I see everyone as a person no matter what country or colour or background they come from, but the fact is their is only so much money within the goverment honeypot and if at the end of the day the country is paying more out to keep everyone housed and the honey pot is not being topped up enough to keep that going then you end up with NHS Services Cuts/Social Housing Cuts/Support Benefit Cuts. You can have an island full of people, but no money to fund defending the country in a time of war and conflict or terrorism. And This is why they have just cut Tax Credits/and increased the Defence Budget. you cant fight a war with no money no matter how many people you have on your island. DONT OVER EGG THE CAKE IS WHAT I MEAN,
  5. Me and my Dad have been talking today about what would happen if we were in the middle of no where on a Canal hours away from any Emergency Service attendance, so basically weve come up with the idea of getting some first response training so we can do as much as possible to help someone if the need arose. We are going to go on a decent first aid course and invest in a Defibulator and get some training on it. The one below is £998 but its welll woth having if it saves someone........ Can someone give us some advice how to deal with directing Emergency Services over a telephone when your moored up in the middle of no where >? Are Hand Held GPS Units a good thing to have and would a 999 call handler know how to place the position of where we are by giving a gps longitude/latitude. >? (i do joke around on other threads but this ones is not a place to joke) thanks.
  6. Thanks Mike that explains quite a lot lol i always knew i was missing 0.15
  7. Exactly ! Their is a PC Game called Sim City its been around for years.
  8. I Blame too much Porn on the internet and drinking too many latte's with cow hormone laced milk LOL People are at it like Rabbits ! come guys put some smiley cream on, lifes too sort.
  9. 100% agree, the amount of homeless ex service people is rediculous, they do actually get priority housing now. some may think thats wrong. the amount of ex forces who cant deal with civvy life is high and a lot end up in prison or with substance misuse issues sleeping rough. they offer resettlement courses and training i.e to be a bus driver which my dad taught, that is not resettlement, some need emotional adjustment and long term therapy. The USA still have it wrong in my book, they hand out Seroquel/Quitiapine Anti-psychotic for PTSD, the max aloud is 600mg in the uk which is what i take, in america their answer to PTSD is 1200mg and Seroquel is now nicknames Sero-Kill which is killing fit and healthy but not mentally stable soldiers. (conspiracy theory - do they prescibe this to save money in looking after ex us soldiers in hope they die) We live in a controlled society but we may not know it sometimes.
  10. Maybe it is possible the area the grind and stick their magnets on to test the hull thickness becomes a future failure of the hull because they just get a shitty brush and wollop a 1mm coat of black on it and go to the Pub. life a box of chocolates ! night
  11. Going to log off guys much appreciated but honestly when i drink wine i get giddy. Night all.
  12. Thanks Alan, i feel its only polite to respond to every bit of help i get thats maybe why i have a lot of posts in only 10 days,# I never knew that the hull blacking could be taken off the price of the boat if the surveyor said it was needed, so much help on this forum its unreal. I dont mind getting dirty one bit, i would rather a few days of that and have a piece of mind of knowing what i am sleeping in/on. I know their are some really good people out their who care about their jobs, but some dont. ie. slap some shit over it, it will be reet they wont know once its in the water. Add : another thing is i would not be able to use 2k over tar base. hopefully i get a 2k boat which would be a plus. thanks giant, maybe my brain rot is more of an issue LOL Thanks Sabcat, rekon we should be ok from what people are saying. lets enjoy it well we have thickness LOL
  13. Mark i cant tell you how much i appreciate what you just wrote that must of taken bloody ages, thanks I will show that to my dad he can read stuff better than me, but is that like Electroplating giving a positive charge to the hull of the Boat and desolving a boat like an alkosaltzer in a glass of water? me heads buggered and i better not type while on the wine i end up woffling. really appreciate you help.
  14. thanks scatches my head where i use to have hair. lol

  18. Sounds Scientifici, but maybe it is something to do with ph stuff god knows, maybe we should rub anti-aging cream on out hulls hahaha ! That makes good sense and adds up good, think maybe i am doing too much thinking and worrying. I am female though lol. thanks for that paragraph, it totally made me think more positive honestly it did.

  20. Thanks for your answers everyone, i thought it would be a hard question to answer. It just sounds even more scarier now buying a boat even with getting an independent survey done, were planning on getting a 5 year old boat but i heard on another thread today someones boat sank at 7 years old. from dodgy bitchuming. scary as hell this is. may rot stay away from your bows.
  21. Their are prioritys for some groups when it comes to re-housing, i was in temporary housing for 13 months and ended up working for stockport homes voluntary, they do really good work and try and keep people off the streets at night at every oportunity. If you see someone sleeping rough in stockport its because they have either not presented as homeless or chose to stay out of the temporary housing or they have been violent towards staff. Some areas are better than others, god knows what london is like. The world is a lonely place when your homeless and it does not get any worse.
  22. Thanks Richard, i am 40 and hoping the boat will see me through my days. Thanks Peter, i have no kids, so if it lasts my lifetime that will do me
  23. Twice its Length Folded in Half Alan. I knew that was coming !
