Hello, Looking for some advice on a 12 v fridge. It was working last summer. I disconnected it from the 12v power over the winter but it now doesn't seem to be working. I didn't buy it, it came with my boat and it seems to be made by 'The Fridge People'. When I connect it up to the power it makes a sound like it's starting up and the right light flashes on momentarily and then it dies. Every minute or so it tries again to power up but fails. It is quite old but it was working perfectly when I disconnected it last autumn. Do you think there's hope for it or should I get rid of it and look for a new fridge- big expense! Thanks Jo

I am currently painting the interior of my narrowboat. Where I have removed tiles from an area of the ply some of the wood has split and has been pulled away. What's the best substance to put over this area to make it smooth before I paint it? I'd rather not replace the piece of plywood if there are other options. Thanks Jo

Hi all, I am currently renovating my narrowboat and I need to un-plumb and remove a washing machine. I have no water in my water tank at the moment so I know it's safe to remove it without worrying about flooding the boat, but how do I permanently remove all the plumbing and disconnect the pipes from the water tank? I'm hoping this is a very easy job and I'm just showing my total lack of knowledge here! I'd greatly appreciate any advice. Thanks
