Well I was just thinking it would help people that come on here to ask about holiday boating .
this forum is a fantastic site. To visit when you first go narrow boating like we did over 10 years age and people
don’t know about other sites to find information
thank you to all and the help

Hi David
that’s what I was thinking of but on this fantastic forum 😀

Just a idea is it worth staring a list of pubs and places that are close to canals that have washing machines
we must have spent hours looking for laundries over the years of boating
a list may save people time especially if if there on holiday boats

Hi All
in all the years we have used narrow boats there has never been a washing machine on the boat .
I was watching a tv programme the other night about finding gold in Alaska And they had washing machines in the pubs so people could take there washing there use the machines and have a few drinks while the washing is done .
It came to me this would be a great idea for pubs along canals As we could never find laundrettes

Looks like you could put a plate over the crack and rivet both parts together even after braising

I don’t know if it helps but you can buy tar remover to remove road tar off car paint
-
Hi you area generous person to give the paint away.
The only answer to this is you will have to get another boat and repaint it 😀😀😀😎 -
We have done the same trip as you are doing twice and loved every minute of it as others have said be careful and have a great time the only difference is we did it in June/ July

Radiators
in General Boating
Posted
Hi all I have seen a advert for a box that sits on top of a radiator with a fan in it that blows the hot air into your room and was thinking how easy it would be to make one with a old fan from a computer
