Thanks for your kind comments. The fenders are required on the busy part of the Grand Union where she is moored. The summer sees a massive influx of chartered narrowboats with novice drivers. The amount of damage we have incurred in the past is crazy. She is also extremely light and as such in high wind can be a challenge to steer accurately. Maybe I just need a little more time at the controls...! A Facebook group may be a good idea. Thanks for the helpful and informative information. Very gratefully received. Anybody know what happened to this Creighton Crusier? Its always sad to see one of these in such a state.

Hi Folks, About 7 years ago we bought a Creighton Crusier 32 ft called ' Yorkshire Rose'. She has a 2 litre Volvo Penta engine fitted with an Enfield Z Drive. I have very little information or documentation about her. Any help with her history or general history about Creighton Crusiers would be gratefully received. We have spent a fair bit of time and effort on her over the years. Have a look at my pictures of her. Can't seem to be able to upload any of my pictures...! All my files are much larger than what's allowed in the gallery area. Anybody able to help with a suggestion.? I don't know how to reduce the size of my photos so they can be uploaded. Very frustrating..!

She's got a centre cockpit and a 2 litre Volvo Penta engine (fitted before I bought her) with an Enfield 'z' drive. Haven't got a great deal of history about her. She had been well and truly neglected before we bought her. I'm really looking for any info I can find about Creightons. There seems to be so little on the web.
