  1. Im sure ive read its capacity is around 320 so 250+ isnt bad
  2. If theres 250+moorers,why is there a problem paying the bills? Thats surely almost full?
  3. My point being that PLM was willing to run up a debt to CRT but clearly wasnt allowing one of his moorers the same liberty
  4. And clearly PLM dont accept being owed money but take umbrage when someone does the same to them...... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181276643329?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_sacat%3D0%26_from%3DR40%26_nkw%3D181276643329%26_rdc%3D1 Whats good for the goose and all that
  5. I had heard additional moorings were put in rather than any removed. Infact on the site aerial shot, there is an additional pontoon to whats shown on the plan. Pontoon C i believe.....surely that would bring in extra money?
  6. And yet again he states other marinas dont pay the NAA! No they may not,but they pay a different fee...a connection charge. It maybe not as high as the NAA but as they are probably historic agreements then they have been being paid for alot longer.
  7. CRT didnt invest but did remove moorings ,thereby losing income. and historic marinas may not pay an NAA,but unless theyre on a river they are subject to a connection charge
  8. Far easier to converse with everyone on here than individually i would have thought Many thanks, and goodness me,theres some reading to be done if they wish to catch up
  9. Ah, so if those 7 are in receipt of benefit that may explain them.
  10. 7 registered at CBC,perhaps they pay individually? The VOA list only one titled moorings as a band E,perhaps thats the ones PL takes the money for and passes on?
  11. Sorry, my mistake on the figures there,i was still working on a quarterly fee and then he stated £500 per month. Perhaps I should work at PLM too hahahaha! That's another point to make, on the liquidation sheet....HMRC are mentioned several times with NIL balances. How is that possible when he owes CRT 180k INC VAT? Surely if he owes CRT, then he owes the VAT?
  12. Precisely, that £500 is approx 4.35% of what he should be paying. Ive seen the marina,im fairly confident his moorings bring in enough to pay....after all,he increased his charges to customers once the NAA had to be paid in full,to cover it! Not counting the 12 months paying none and 12 months at 50%. Im sure the salaries didnt only get paid at 5% of what it should be
  13. http://edition.pagesuite-professional.co.uk//launch.aspx?eid=dd65bcbc-d40a-485c-8e4d-080a31d50250 This is a link to an old edition of Towpath Talk, back in Jan 2013. PL states he is facing bankruptcy. If he was only offering me 4.35% of what he owed,I wouldn't accept it either. How can he have settled his other bills, including Mr Steadmans interest payments if things were that bad? Plus advertising the fact of imminent bankruptcy is not likely to draw in huge crowds of interested moorers is it?
  14. PLM, it even gives the boat name. If you go on CBC website & input the marina post code,it lists 7 narrowboats paying council tax. However, the VOA lists moorings as a band E since 2012. Is this when the letter was sent by Roy?
  15. Re the council tax issue,a quick search on Charnwood Borough Council site shows 7 boats registered for paying council tax. In a marina without residential planning permission? How does that work? And that must mean CBC bill them so who is PL taking council tax from? Are we certain that he is? Didnt John Lillie say that they applied for retrospective residential planning? I cant remember
  16. Im not certain...and nothing would surprise me
  17. In fairness,i thought his christmas break was in the uk? But im not certain
  18. At one time,i think its been said, his husband also drew a salary from PLM,but as youve said, this is not a debate about his personal life. But if my business was struggling i wouldnt even take a weekend at Skegvegas.
  19. As i said,new cars,foreign holidays,designer clothes,second houses.....
  20. When times are hard, sadly people have to let some staff go,PLM has recently advertised for further staff. Electric, water etc are all charged out to the moorer so the money is there for them to be paid. More pontoons were put in,rather than taking out as CRT suggested to enable a reduction in NAA,implying the marina is fairly full so the moneys coming in. Its just not been passed on
