  1. if I need to go into my residential status I will. I do live at pillings marina part of the year. I also live in my apartment in London part of the year. I do pay council tax at my apartment in London. I also spend aprox 4 months of the year at my house in Portugal. Oh and on another point as I have said on numerous occasions I do not know Paul or his husband only seeing either of them briefly at the marina. Anything else you need to know please feel free to ask. I have replied to this post but by no means are my comments aimed at the poster.
  2. because I like it there and that is where I want to live. With regards to carts much needed income, please!!!
  3. no it was not me you idiot, "pl stooge guy" sorry for not agreeing with people on this forum.
  4. Lol - "seriously in the know" but can't give you an exact date!!
  5. No I'm not saying that at all. I presume like me they are just paying month by month until they know what the situation is.
  6. yes it's about 25 mins drive from here and it's not a nice place.
  7. The moorings income can't have slowed to a trickle and most certainly dried up. I have read on here that a couple of boats have left the marina. You would not know it when you look round the marina it's seems as busy as ever. I think people are holding out to see the outcome of the communications we received from cart on Monday and the email received from the marina today. I think the general opinion seems to be that there is no pint making any hasty decisions at the moment. If I do have to leave which I really do not want to do. I won't do it until May (if at all) as I will be at my house in Spain when the closure is due to take place.
  8. No what I actually said we're people are not getting dramatic like people on here. I also said I would expect come late march/early April the marina will start to see some movement.
  9. here here!! Good to hear from you on here!!
  10. how is discussing residential moorings helping the marina. Or the moorers even??
  11. Expensive holidays oh please!! I don't think a week in the canaries can be classed as expensive. No comment on the car as don't know what he drives or if he owns a car. As for the house again no idea where he lives!! Does he own it or his husband?? Anyway I am stopping this as I have been critical of people talking personally about pl it has no business of anyone off here. who can I blame him I would take my salary. After all those designer clothes don't buy themselves do they lol.Sarcastic I know sorry.
  12. I think CRT have more money than sense. 180 grand is nothing to them. Maybe if they cut down on advertising, marketing a bit. I don't need a CRT promotional stand in my local shopping centre. I am pretty sure that working at CRT is probably a bit of a gravy train, not sure what you mean by apparent wealth??
  13. because then the debt would not be 180 grand maybe maybe not it has been known for moorers to get reduced payments due to redundancy! all very ideal world!! Reality is suppliers need paying, staff need paying a whole host of other things need paying! If there are not enough moored then the full amount is not collected!
  14. that was before I moored at Plm when I used to pay CRT for a mooring directly. This mooring had toilet and shower facilities which were closed the 4 out of 5 months I was there.
  15. from what I am lead to believe reduced payments were offered to CRT but returned.
  16. that was before I moored at Palm when I used to pay CRT for a mooring directly. This mooring had toilet and shower facilities which were closed the 4 out of 5 months I was there.
  17. I know exactly how it is cess pit full for 4 months and not emptied thanks CRT or BW as was!!! Yes you are correct the NAA should have been paid but maybe just maybe the marina could not keep up with the payments.
  18. I hope to continue enjoying my mooring and hopefully it will be sorted by April. I suspect it won't be. For some it's not as easy as just moving. he has no hold over me. As I have said numerous times I have had no issues with him and when ever I have spoken to him which isn't that often he has always been polite. With regards to the money that is owed to CRT. I am not overly interested in that. Up until recently I didn't even know what NAA was so I don't intend to worry about it now. There probably is some logical reason but why have NAA. The money would always be passed into the end user so why not just put the licence fee up. Then everyone pays including continuous cruisers. One thing is for sure CRT wouldn't wait 3 years to take a boater to court!!
  19. I disagree with topics like that it is hardly thinking of the people that actually moor at the marina.
  20. yes but the other part of this thread is to slag off Paul Lillie, talk about planning permission for bar/apartment, discuss if it is ok to have access to a marina on a bridleway.
  21. I for one am not burying my head in the sand. I'm not worrying either!!
