  1. The choice is miss behave in mercia and Annie may in alvecote marina Tamworth. I fell in love with Annie may when I seen her ad then wasn't disappointed on seeing her. But I know I won't be able to get that much off her. Where as miss behave is a great looking boat and under my budget. Thanks. If I went ahead and bought miss behave I'd have a nice bit of cash to play with to make her mine and to resolve any issues if any that are resolved by the vendor.
  2. Yeah when I figure out how to post pics lol. The lasted boat I view is in really good Nick. It's a matter of head or heart lol. If I buy the boat in Tamworth it'll leave me with less money to play with than if I buy the boat in mercia. Both nice boats.
  3. Omg I'm in love. Got one more boat to see at Barton. Then if it's not what I'm looking for then the boat in Tamworth is the one I'll put an offer in lol. Thanks James for the lift.
  4. Thanks James I got it. Ill drop you a text. See you soon then. And I'll treat Ya to a drink.
  5. Just passed through Burton. Should be able to get to Barton for 3ish. And it's to see miss behave Just arrived at Tamworth
  6. Ahh there lies the problem lol. They have a boat a Barton marina but again it's a taxi ride from the train station. Took a look at harebell at sawley and she's to small for me.
  7. On the train to Tamworth now. On way to alvecote marina. Where are great Heywood boat sales based.
  8. Just left sawley and out of four boats seen 1 has made the maybe pile lol
  9. So I'm on route to sawley marina now. Then got a viewing at mercia marina then Barton turns marina and finally alvecote marina. Busy day lol
  10. im viewing 5 boat, annie may being one of them. then i'll buy the one that best suits my needs.
  11. Lol I should hope it's still floating lol. Touch wood sawley doesn't flood before I've been lol.
  12. Thanks guys. Having to go tomorrow now due to the bloody rain lol.
  13. Hi glyn are you open tomorrow? I'm going to view harebell tomorrow so could come and see miss behave tomorrow also. Or should I say today Sunday lol
  14. Hi glyn thanks for your reply. £15k wills be my initial offer with a view of paying £17k. I've seen a few boats by the company the operate from mercia and seen 2 that I like including one advertised on Apollo duck (miss behave) add for 1600w inverter it's probably as much energy as I need for my phone and laptop.
  15. Thanks Mac. I'm really looking forward to getting my first boat. And getting out of the crappy bricks and mortar lol.
  16. Thanks mate. Yeah I like the little dinette. That's one thing I wanted on-board my boat lol. It doesn't have a fixed birth though from what I can see but that's ok.
  17. To be honest I was thinking £15k. I'm going to be living on my boat when I get her on my own. With a cat lol. So size isn't to much of an issue. The more I can get off her the more I have to play with and spend on her. For instance I want to fit a 1600w inverter/charger fit new batterys. If it already doesn't have 3 leisure I'll ad an extra so I have 3 leisure 1 starter plus 800w of solar panels. Maybe a back boiler for the heating and a new gas boiler. And finally if cash allows a coat of paint.
  18. Yeah I've seen the limited time left on the bsc and the boats license has expired. Plus the boil. All are in my favour to get her for a good price. Glad to hear to boat builder is a known one to lol One thing I'd change. I dont know how difficult it would be but I'd be tempted to put a back boiler in for the stove. Any thoughts?
  19. http://www.bwml.co.uk/marinas/sawley_marina/brokerage/sm_9014_harebell she's a lovely 38ft trad stern boat. Only bad point from what I can ser there isn't a fix berth. No biggie though.
  20. Yeah that's my phones auto correct lol but the ad states a vetus diesel engine. Here's a link to her http://www.bwml.co.uk/marinas/sawley_marina/brokerage/sm_9014_harebell Any thoughts on her?
  21. Ok so I'm viewing another boat tomorrow from sawley. Doesn't have licence and only short bsc but that's my bargaining power lol. What I was wondering is does anyone know anything about vetus diesel engines? Personally I've never heard of it.
  22. Anyone else checked the links. Obviously scams as the boats in Loughborough and the ads claim its in Colchester and Essex Lmao
  23. Granted a lot of things are made in China. But its the components that make up what ever it is that matters. Most companies like apple and Microsoft manufacture the components and send em to China to be put together. Where as Chinese made components I'm not so sure.
