We took a lot of Micky taking from the BW staff at Blisworth especially Gary, any up here's 'addock again. Good fun gave us lots of pleasure. I believe that when built in 1991 by WFB Co it cost £90K plus.

I was the owner for a period having purchased it from Warwickshire fly boat in the late 90's and sold it in about 2006/7. it was built as a replica of the original in 1991. The owners also bought an original butty, can't remember the name. They had it modified to take it across the channel where it cruised Europe for a couple of years before returning. The boat was nicknamed "Haddock" by BW staff and others as a Micky take. i had the boat repainted in about 2000 and had it sign written. Brian Collings from Stoke Bruerne did an oil painting, which I still have showing how the original Dace would have looked in its working environment on the BCN. The original.
