Hi continuation of below!! oops!! pressed wrong button!! the warning lights advised again glow plug problems so called Mikuni who advised probably needs de-coke. They can do this but the cost is c. £200 plus we will have to buy another glowplug! Anyone know if it's possible to do the de-coke ourselves or is this a job for the experts? Maybe it would be cheaper to get a heating engineer in? Thanks Martin

Hi can anyone help please, Our mikuni mx40 heating failed a few weeks ago and the warning lights suggested a new glow plug,sure enough the glowplug was burny out so we ordered a replacement. Fitted this and heating was working and rads heated up.Left the boat for a week and when returned the heating was not working again.

any help please on touch up for paintwork? this is our first boat and we have rubbed down the rusty areas whilst the boat was our of the water to be blacked. We have applied some primer and are unsure what to do next. should we just go over this with paint or do we need to rub down again and then undercoat before paintin. the areas to be done are around the gunnels so thought we may just paint all around so different paint colour would not be obvious. the previous owner has touched up with slightly different colour here and there so would like to avoid doing the same. any siggestions?

Hi we are new to boating and this is our first boat. have used the vanette 2200 oven before and worked ok but this weekend when tried to use the oven we had problems i.e. the burners were just burning with yellow flame and no real heat. The dish in the oven did not get hot, just charcoaled on the outside so no heat just smoke Grill was working ok and the hob also. Any help please?
