  3. Thanks Moley, that was the problem. I'm happily viewing all the images now! Admin - can I suggest you change the default if possible? Or am I just being a bit thick!
  4. Just found that the Blogs RSS feeds work OK in firefox - The rest of the forum still going to empty calender.
  5. No, hadn't viewed any mate. I've just started uploading to the 'members albums' as that seems to work OK for me.

  18. Ah! I remember your name from when I was finding out about the roses and castles style. Thanks for uploading your photos! They may well provide some inspiration for me.
  19. Hi, i'm having problems viewing and using the gallery. Clicking on gallery works fine, but when i click on "waterways" it says "no image found", and with others it only displays one photo where there should be dozens.
  20. What? What? What? What happened to this post? I was expecting to read intellectual debate! Surely we should get back to the point - do we fry them or slow cook the vandals? and would they go well with a Byriani sauce?
  21. Looks like a good job Grumpy Bear. Unfortunately it's not near me, but i've bookmarked their vacancies page, thanks for pointing it out.
  22. Any news on this? I'd love to be able to add an RSS feed to the waterways news on my website, so if people see something of interest they can click on it and read about it here.
  23. I've recently been asked on my forum if i know any websites that say where there is ramp access to canal towpaths, instead of steps. Although BW gives some info on the condition of towpaths, I can find no sites or books giving information on where wheelchair or pushchair visitors can access towpaths. Does anyone know if there is somewhere to find this info? I'd love to let people know the info is available and point them here. When finding out about this, I saw that BW have introduced an accessibility scheme, but it really has been of no use. No-one thinks every point of access should be ramped, but with all the money and effort that's been put into things like waterscape and encouraging adults and children, surely it would be beneficial and not too expensive to gather and publish details about where towpaths can be accessed. What do you think?
  24. I've tried numerous options to prevent punctures, and just thought i'd share what works for me. My tyres are 2" wide with an inner tube. I use the slime anti puncture roll, and have found after the first couple of punctures that placing them well in the tyre works. Since I have only ever suffered the odd 'pinch' puncture (where the tyre is hit through to touch the rim, puncturing the tube), with a bit more observation and front suspension that type of puncture can be avoided too. The only time it wouldn't prevent was when i got a hawthorn right in the very edge of the tyre, but that is quite rare. The solution to that would be a wider roll or putting two in.
