hey guys, Im sure you are all fed up with people talking about this, but ive lived on a 60(ish) foot narrow boat with my dad for a while a few years ago. I was apprehensive at first but the way of life converted me quickly.
I now find myself torn. I am looking at getting a small river cruiser to live aboard. I know you should try and buy the largest you can afford, unfortunatly i have less than 3 weeks to find somewhere to live as just as little time to fund the purchase!
I am looking at being likely to afford something around 20ft which scares me somewhat mainly due to the fact that you cant actually stand fully upright in them. (im not tall either people!)
Im wondering if they can be used as a liveaboard for say six months while saving to go up a rung of the boat ladder?
Or as some are taller than others can they be refitted?
also the back canvas section, is this canvas for a reason or can it be made a little more secure to provide additional storage areas as i see that as my main problem?
Sorry the general randomness of the question, probably just nerves getting the better of me!!
Oh and hello to all!
