If your draw isn't too good on your chimney, have a look at a company called Smokie joe's (www.smokiejoes.co.uk) - they do ornate cowls that can be pushed into the top of your existing chimney, and they rotate to turn against the wind - they therefore stop downdraft blowing smoke into the cabin, they create a low pressure above the top of your chimney which increases the draw on your fire, and the cowl stops rain entering the chimney. They're very helpful too. Haven't got the phone number any more, but I'm sure it's on their website.

I came across a really helpful bunch - also do ornate cowls to help improve the draw on your fire, just fit into the top of your existing chimney, or you can buy the complete matching set. They're at www.smokiejoes.co.uk. Also do different coloured chimneys.
