Yes its a shame the weather played up again. BMBC went to a lot of trouble and the set-up was excellent. Sadly we didn't get there by boat this year but had a 'taster' on Friday night with the Noggin and Natter. Glad to hear that the rest of the weekend was as good if not better. Also the Rally brochure was excellent. Hope everyone got back up the cut all right on the Monday. Ned

Hi, The topic is interesting, I have a 1976 boat which is probably due for a re-plating on the bottom The implications vary from comentator to comentator but it seems a fairly common procedure with not too much disturbance to the boat apart from holes made in the floor for spot welds in the middle plates The weight and thickness of steel is a critical consideration
