I am an existing user with the same problem, so I set up this one to see if my profile was "damaged".

I replied to the first post instantly and it edited it (??) Then I replied again and a new post was created.

 

Weird innit.

 

I blame the management

Sorry, I've just worked out what you said - I think

 

The forum has always appended new posts by the same user to a previous post if made shortly afterwards. Is that what you meant?
