Anniet
Hi, hurray for spring, anyone have any plans for a central heating system running from a back boiler on the burner? Potentially including water tank for hot water too running from water storage tank. Anyone aware of any regulations regarding such a system on a boat, :-)
smileypete
Hi, hurray for spring, anyone have any plans for a central heating system running from a back boiler on the burner? Potentially including water tank for hot water too running from water storage tank. Anyone aware of any regulations regarding such a system on a boat, :-) Try a forum search for 'back boiler' or 'gravity heating' there have been plenty of threads in the past. I don't think there's any regulations as such, but for safety reasons and for starters, the system must run unpressurised with no valves between back boiler and an adequately sized vent pipe that points into the header tank. I'm sure if a diagram/plan was posted people would comment on it. cheers, Pete. ~smpt~ Edited April 7, 2013 by smileypete
