Bristol Harbour Festival

I have booked in to the above, and plan to leave B-on-A on Wednesday to poodle down to Bristol. Anybody know the state of the River Avon, from all the stuff on tele I,m supprised that nothing ( so far ) on the Bristol Avon.

Hi Roger,

 

I live in Saltford Marina which is about half way between Bath and Bristol on the River. the water levels were really high about 2 - 3ft at the weekend and the river was running very fast as the sluice gates in bath were opened. Its gone back down again now but the river is still running quite fast but probably manageable. Depends on what weather we get over the next couple of days.
