Following on from a full inspection and survey of the wash wall, a stoppage is required in order to carry out repair works.

 

It is necessary to lower the pound in order to carry out the works. The pound will be closed to through navigation and no mooring will be allowed whilst these works are undertaken.

 

The canal will be opened to through navigation at 2.00 pm on Monday 23rd April.
