Cobling inland?

I'm a Whitby lad, and my Uncle Jim has been using Whitby built cobles for years. Not, admittedly, ones this size, but he pointed me in the direction of This Advert On Apollo Duck

 

Because he knew the builders he's of the opinion that if she's been looked after and is currently sea-worthy I should have a look. Now, given all the usual caveats about surveys etc etc, were I to get her then just how far inland could I get before I got to an area I just couldn't pass. (Obviously the Narrows are out of the question)
