I hope that they dredge my mooring a bit while they're at it, you can see why I get stuck..

I expected to see a pile of tea bags where my Dad's boat is normally moored, and some tea spoons as he seems to lose them...

Not very far. A boat turned up at the weekend who didn't know there was a stoppage, so they are stuck as it's about 45 minutes backwards to the nearest winding hole...

Don't suppose you've heard anything of trees down on the rest of the Llan? Specifically the bit west towards Wales? heard it was a bit blowy last night....

Sorry, can't help from there; currently at Prees Junction; plenty of trees down across the towpath but navigation seems clear from earlier walk with dog. Still trying to get in touch new fuel boat ACCCCo but texts not working for the last week or so

They're doing their deliveries by van at the mo. I don't know their number but you can contact them through this site's facebook.

Apart from all the action to set up, there doesn't look to be much change this week, but they have a while left yet.

Thanks for the update; hope the weather doesn't keep them longer than scheduled...... those mountains I'm looking at over here are VERY white this afternoon!

Waterways are slowly letting the drained section fill up. They say that they have finished the repairs and once the section is full, and they have carried out a few checks, they will re-open the canal. Probably this Friday.
