Easy Liver and Bacon

Put on some Basmati Rice and boil in a saucepan with a sprinkle of salt and water.

 

Chop up an onion and fry in a splash of oil 'til golden.

 

Add scissored up rashers of bacon and stir about till crispy.

 

Add chopped mushrooms and cook the whole lot over a low heat until you are bored.

 

Slide this onto a plate.

 

Slice up some lamb's liver and cook in the same frying pan with a little more oil. Cook until its still a bit pink and not rubbery. Add the contents of the plate back with the liver, add a small pot of Creme Fraishe and stir but don't boil.

 

Drain the rice when cooked and stir in a generous dollop of Engish mustard.

 

Serve together. It's really nice if you like liver.
