Hello. Grim topic, I know, but does anyone have any technical knowledge of these? SN35 model. Works on Eco flush but floods fresh water through the overflow on main flush. No idea why. Presume something is blocked somewhere. Any help gratefully recieved.

The starting point for every fault we ever had when we used these on the hire fleet (not the use of the past tense) was to strip the macerator and make sure it was clear.

 

The earlier units were better than the all rubber housings, but both sorts suffer over age with the blades getting blunt and bound up with paper and this seems to reduce the amount of water etc they'll shift as well as making them more prone to blocking.

 

Be prepared to leave the working parts dumped in a bowl of limescale remover overnight if you have time.
