Yamanx Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 I am intending to take a trip down to Kinver for new year from Norbury. Are there any restrictions at Bratch Locks? I can find no information on the (Awful) BW site, maybe there isnt any to find? Thanks
Moley Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 Are there any restrictions at Bratch Locks? I can find no information on the (Awful) BW site, maybe there isnt any to find? I'm not aware of any planned closures and have seen no notices posted, but I'll have a walk up at lunchtime and double-check. And my mate saw tupperware on the move yesterday.
Yamanx Posted December 20, 2006 Author Report Posted December 20, 2006 Thanks, would there be time restrictions during the winter?
Moley Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 Thanks, would there be time restrictions during the winter? Yes, will get back to you after my lunchtime stroll. Assume daylight hours, 9-4, but that's just a guess.
Moley Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 Well that's a good brisk luchtime walk (we only get 30 minutes). No notices or stoppages are posted. No hours are stated other than the standard notice: “Locks open at 8am. Last entry 19:40 or dusk if earlier” Obviously, the office is closed and the locks are unmanned at this time of year. Let me know if you make it to Kinver and I'll buy you a beer
Yamanx Posted December 20, 2006 Author Report Posted December 20, 2006 Thanks you very much for that. Should be in Kinver Friday 29th December. No Internet access from today though, computer at home on the blink and no mobile access unless we see a hot spot which seems unlikely on this route. Thanks again and merry christmas
