Fitting Of A Pump-Out toilet

Hello Folks,

help required:-how hard / easy is it to fit a pump-out toilet,

i`ll not be doing it, but getting a boat fitter to do it,

and any idea of the cost,

Leesan sell the kits for £1300 up. Fitting difficulty /cost depends where bog and tank can be located and pipe runs.

If you do get one fitted make sure the pipes connecting the tank and the loo aren't too tight.

 

When I fixed my macerator a while back I found that it had been fitted so tight it was a nightmare to work with. A bit of give means you can disconnect them with less, er, mess. Also after replacing the macerator I couldn't re-attach the pipes and had to extend them.

 

At least it'll be easy if it ever goes wrong again!
