Incredible shrinking pound

Yes we suffered this on our last visit. Some plonker the night before left the bottom gates open and a top paddle slightly drawn. The pound went down 18" in the night.

 

"Do people really continue to lay in bed, when their boats at that angle ? "

 

Er - yes. I lay there hoping it would sort itself out before I had to sally forth in my pyjamas. Eventually I was woken by things falling over in the fridge and when I reached over to check the time on my watch, I rolled completely out of bed and was therefore forced into action!
