Cuttle Bridge 13

 

Friday 9 November 2012 until further notice

Due to a vehicle strike earlier this morning which has completely destroyed the parapet on one side of the bridge, with debris on the towpath and in the canal, the navigation and towpath are to be closed until the area is cleared and temporary barriers installed. The Trust are working with Derbyshire County Council to make the area safe as soon as possible. A further update will be provided in due course.

 

The towpath is also closed
